Florent Trochel studied film at Le Fresnoy, the national studio for contemporary arts, in 2006-2008. He is currently developing his first feature film. He is also the author of several plays and short films. As part of a residency at Radio France, he is co-director of an opera and several concert shows. He also directed filmed versions of shows by Joël Pommerat, Ilka Schönbein and Nicolas Liautard for Arte and France Télévisions.

In a small French town, three young Afghans, Amir, Omid and Mayha, have lost the key to the flat where they were to spend the night. Pushed to the edge of a river, they move on according to circumstances and encounters. One of them claims to be a king.
