Body-Buildings

Body-Buildings brings together dance, architecture and cinema, fusing identities and concepts. Six chorégraphies (by Tânia Carvalho, Vera Mantero, Victor Hugo Pontes, Jonas & Lander, Olga Roriz, Paulo Ribeiro) created for six architecture works (by João Luís Carrilho da Graça, Álvaro Siza Vieira, Eduardo Souto de Moura, João Mendes Ribeiro and Menos é Mais Arquitectos, Paulo David, Aires Mateus) in six locations in Portugal (Covilhã, Leça da Palmeira, Braga, Açores, Madeira, Grândola).

Henrique Pina

Henrique Pina (b. 1987) studied Film and Directing at Roehampton University, London. After graduation, he returned to his hometown and worked for two years for Krypton Productions, a film production company based in Lisbon. His first short film, Tejo (2011) was selected for the New York International Film Festival. The same year he was one of four young Portuguese filmmakers invited to make a film to be screened at the Lisbon and Estoril Film Festival, resulting in the short documentary Transeunte. In 2013, he directed his second short fiction film The World Falls Apart (and still people fall in love), which won the award for best national fiction at the International Short Film Festival in Porto. In 2016, he founded his production company, Moonway Films. Aires Mateus: Matter in Reverse (2017) is his first feature-length documentary, which has been screened in numerous festivals.
