Capturing life as it happens, however it happens. It is a game of struggle: defeat, conquest, competitiveness, aggression, intimidation tactics, domination, empathy, compromise, tenderness, desire, sensuality and sex. All in a simple game of ping-pong.

Gustavo de Oliveira Leite

Gustavo de Oliveira Leite (1991) graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance at the Folkwang University in Essen. From February 2014 to December 2015, he danced in the young ensemble Palácio das Artes (Belo Horizonte), then in the re-enactment of Blaubart at Tanztheater Pina Bausch. Since 2018, he has been performing at the Nature Theater of Oklahoma (USA) in the production of No President. He also assists primary schools children in the Starting Point dance initiation project in Essen. Match is his first short film.
