Festival L’Europe autour de l’Europe

The unmissable Festival of European Films in Paris

During two weeks of screenings, the Festival L’Europe autour de l’Europe is a panorama of European cinema including 3 competitions (fiction films, documentaries and short films) as well as numerous tributes, retrospectives, special events in around ten screening rooms in Paris and Île-de-France. Find now a hundred new films from recent productions where more than thirty European countries will be represented and many prestigious guests from all over Europe.

The Festival takes place during the second fortnight of March. The dates of the Festival are announced each year in July.

The official selection is published on the Festival website in mid-February.

The Festival screenings are held in several art house cinemas in and around Paris, as well as in cultural centres, galleries, foundations etc. The complete list of screening venues is published two weeks before the start of the Festival. It is published in the tab: Practical Informations / Venues. The address of each screening is indicated in the programme.

The beginning of the film is the same as the beginning of the screening. Plan to be on time !

All films are screened in their original version with French subtitles. All films in competition are screened with French-English subtitles.

Allow 40 minutes in addition to the duration of the film announced. The opening ceremony includes the presentation of the Festival, the guests of honour and the members of the jury. The closing ceremony begins with the awards ceremony : the Prix SAUVAGE, the Prix PRESENT, the Prix SAUVAGE CORTO, the Prix LUNA.

The presence of the filmmakers, crew members and guests for each screening is indicated in the programme. The screenings begin with a short presentation by the filmmakers and end with an exchange with the guests present.

The Festival is first and foremost a celebration of cinema, but many screenings are followed by a cocktail offered by the Festival. If the cinema is equipped with a bar, you can also share a drink and a snack with other spectators and guests.

You can also buy the Festival Pass for €25 on Event Brite (student rate) and in the Pass Culture application as well as in our partnered venues.

The ticket office is dematerialized and accessible directly on the Event Brite platform available on the website. All screenings – regardless of venue – require a ticket. These tickets can be presented in paper or electronic format. They are strictly personal and the sale of tickets is strictly prohibited. Violators may be subject to prosecution.

Almost all our partnered theatres accept UGC, Gaumont or other passes. Prices and access options for each venue are indicated in the tab: Practical information / Venues. The Festival Pass gives access to all the screenings and events of the edition.

Yes, but we advise you to order your pass on the Event Brite website, which will allow you to collect it before the screening from our team.

Refunds of the Festival Pass are only possible before the start of the Festival.

Accreditation to the Festival L’Europe autour de l’Europe is available on request for press professionals, Festival guests and film professionals. There is no charge for accreditation.

To obtain your accreditation, please fill in the form in the Accreditation tab. The Festival team will come back to you to validate your request and hand you your pass.

Accreditations are open for one month before the start of the Festival. For any request after these dates, please contact the Festival team.

All photos taken during the Festival are subject to copyright. Please contact the Festival team to find out about the rights if you what to use one of our images.
