Peter Samson studied painting at the Royal College of art, then in the 80’s began to experiment with film, processing and screening with the London Film-makers Co-operative. In 1981 his Graded Games was screened widely in European festivals, then in 1983, The Pharaoh’s Parachute was short-listed for Grierson Award and screened at the BFI in London. He also worked part-time as a teacher and lecturer, concentrating on mainly on his own practice.
