Neda Valčić Lazović is a journalist, essayist and literary translator. She is an editor at RTS – Radio Television of Serbia – Art and Culture editorial office. Author of the series Contemporary Writers of the World, in the last twenty years she has made portraits of Mario Vargas Ljosa, Jean-Marie Le Clésio, Orhan Pamuk, Peter Handke, Günter Grass, Salman Rushdie, Paul Auster,Alexander Barykin, Jonathan Franzen, Michael Cunningham, Ian McEwan, Lyudmila Ulitskaya, Viktor Erofeyev, Jean Bodrillard, Alain Badiou, Jacques Rancière, Irvin Yalom, Julia Kristeva, as well as other thinkers who have marked the international scene at the turn of the twentieth century. In 2011, she received the insignia of Chevallier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
