Malu Janssen is a Dutch director and screenwriter. She studied theatre and cinema at the University of Utrecht before being accepted at the Netherlands Film Academy from which she graduated in 2016. Her graduation film Our Own (Eigen) was selected for numerous festivals such as Palm Springs Shortfest (2016). Then, she directed Stuff (2019) and is currently co-writing her first feature film The Dumped (De Aflvalligen).

When her home is broken into, Helen, is in shock. She secretly mourns the loss of her design objects, with which she has an intimate and intense relationship. When she invites friends over to redesign her flat, Helen realizes that she has lost a part of herself that will not be easily replaced.
