Júlia Marcos Lázaro gratuated from ESCAC Film school in Barcelona. She worked as assistant director on four films: Madres Paralelas by Perdo Almodovar, Chavalas by Carol Rodríguez and Life is Life by Dani de la Torre. Countdown is her thesis film. Together with her student friends she also directed the short Ovella (2021), awarded the Best Actor Prize at Sant Cugat Fantàstic Film Festival 2021.
