Guille Vázquez (1992) studied audiovisual communication in Santiago de Compostela and then cinema in Prague, Berlin and Madrid. He graduated from the image section of the Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine de Madrid (EFTI), and was the cinematographer for the short films Index (2018) by Daniel Damanti and To the Sea (2019) by Julian M. Grünthal. Mare (2020) is his first feature film as a director.
Mare
A young woman searches for someone who broke into her house while she was asleep. Based on the painting The Nightmare by Henry Fuseli, Mare depicts a sleep paralysis through the myth of the incubus.
