Born in Belgium, Frédéric Roussel lives and works in Brussels, where he teaches drawing at the ESA St-Luc art school. His artistic activity is focused on drawn storytelling, which he practices independently. He makes both photostories and films, but always with a particular interest in the relationship between the photographic and/or animated image and the written word. His short films L’Homme brûlé (2019), Tonn & Monn (2019) and Migraine (2020) have received numerous awards.
