Maria must come to terms with herself when her husband announces he wants a divorce. An interpersonal film about a breakup, but also about a woman’s opportunity to know herself, grow, and confront unconscious and dysfunctional patterns within herself.

“Director Ingolfsdottir demonstrates great insight into human behavior throughout the film. The viewer, while somewhat bewildered, will find it intriguing to follow Maria’s painful path to fulfillment, and to reflect on the “guilt” that seems to be constantly placed on her, as well as the lack of attention paid to her husband and loved ones, who offer her almost no support.”
