Antonio recalls his childhood in a small village in Cordoba and his mind takes him back to the Easter celebrations: the maze of dazzling white alleys where the procession takes place, the frenetic activities of the village in preparation for the event, but above all the decisive encounter with Paco, the painter, who will teach Antonio to look at and capture life.

“The film’s strength lies in its ability to express what is left unsaid, through the powerful visual imagery its directors manage to create through Easter images, landscapes, objects, and faces, their colors (much of it is shot in black and white) and their textures. There is also the way the entire world is captured through the eyes of a child. An innocent, beautiful, curious gaze, but also imbued with a certain melancholy and fear, which contrasts with the voiceover of the adult who is now saying goodbye to life, evoking the past.”
