Originally from the north of England, Harry Batty is a young director and screenwriter. At the age of 18, he participated in the BFI's National Film and Television School program. During this program, he directed the short film "Oh Gloria Inmarcesible!", a parable about two Colombian gangsters in London.

Since 2020, he has been studying at the Northern Film School in Leeds. In 2021, the short film "An Afternoon" was screened at the 16th edition of the Europe Around Europe festival.
