Biography
Originally from Slovakia, Dasa Raimanova studied film, video, and interactive arts at Middlesex University in the United Kingdom, as well as biological anthropology and cognitive science in Austria and France. She has lived in London and Berlin, making documentaries focused on sociopolitical issues, particularly those related to women and minorities.
Her documentary "Across the Road - Worlds Apart" (2019) was broadcast in nine European countries and has accumulated 700,000 online views. "POLYLAND" (2018), a documentary she directed and produced, has been screened at international festivals and used as part of Amnesty International's campaign against hate crimes in Poland.
