Born in 1973 in Posušje, Mario Knezović is a Bosnian actor and musician. He began his film career in 1994 and gained recognition for his roles in films such as "Djeca" and "Nakon ljeta".

As a member of the rock band Zoster, he also contributed to the local music scene.

Biography

Mario Knezović was born in 1973 in Posušje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He grew up in a large family, being the ninth child of Ljube and Zore Knezović. After attending elementary school in Broćanac and Vranić, he continued his secondary education in various cities, including Dubrovnik, Visoko, and Sinj. In 1993, he joined the Franciscan Monastery of Humac, marking the beginning of his religious commitment.

His artistic career began in 1994 with his participation in the film "Djeca" by Aida Begić, which received critical acclaim. He then starred in Danis Tanović's "Nakon ljeta", which premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival, as well as in the TV series "Kotlina", also directed by Tanović.

At the same time, Mario Knezović is the frontman of the rock band Zoster, formed in 2000. The band is known for its energetic performances and its influence on the Balkan music scene.
