Biography
Christelle Cornil, born on August 28, 1977 in Brussels, began her artistic training between 1996 and 1997 at the Institut des arts de diffusion, where she studied acting, acrobatics, singing, dance, declamation, and fencing. She then continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, receiving a first prize in declamation in 2000, and then at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where she won a first prize in drama in 2001.
Her film career began in 2000 with "Le Vélo de Ghislain Lambert" by Philippe Harel. She then went on to appear in films such as "Comme tout le monde" (2006), "Sister Sourire" (2009), "Illégal" (2010), "Au cul du loup" (2011) and "Two Days, One Night" (2014). Her performance in "Illegal" earned her the Magritte Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2011.
Christelle Cornil also appeared in international productions, including Nora Ephron's "Julie and Julia" (2009) and Sandra Nettelbeck's "Mr. Morgan's Last Love" (2012). She collaborated with renowned directors such as the Dardenne brothers in "The Unknown Girl" (2016) and Alain Chabat in "On the Trail of the Marsupilami" (2012).
