Synopsis :
Tormented relations of a modern couple.
Review :
“Both of them, (Petrovic and Hladnik), paying no attention to politically correct social and pedagogical stances, were paving the way for a thematic revolution (« in the beginning intimist cinema was synonymous with modern cinema »Petrovic was to declare later) as well as a revolution in thematic language ( take Hladnik’s visualisation of inner monologue for instance).
Both dealing with romantic affairs as ‘anti-optimistic manifestoes’ these films presented love as a tragic adventure.”
